THINGS TO REMEMBER

PART ONE

God's grace is the most important thing you could ever remember. It is God's grace that made all the difference in my life. One of my favorite verses on God's grace is II Corinthians 12:9: "And He (Christ) said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect through weakness. Very gladly therefore will I rejoice rather in mine infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me."

Let me simply break this down. Who is "He?" In the context, it is "Christ." Now we see that Christ is very personal with Paul. Notice the words, "me" and "thee." What is the subject of this verse? Answer: Christ's grace. Without Christ's grace, everything else in the verse and context would mean nothing. Now you might ask: You mean to tell me that it would mean nothing to me or anybody else? Yes, because without Christ's grace, a relationship with Him would be impossible. Many other things would be impossible too. Christ could not given Himself on the cross for us if His grace is not there to personally save an individual. Alas! Furthermore, Christ would not have been born in this world if grace from either the Father, Son, or Holy Ghost did not exist. If one did not have grace, what would that make God? I suppose it would make Him a liar and make us wonder why we ever fell for such a God. But I can assure you friend that this God is not that way. The whole Word is absolutely true. Christ is God. Please repent and receive Him now. His grace is well sufficient for you.

Christ's grace is something that must be experienced in order for you to personally know the Truth. Not just from the Word of God through your head but in your heart through grace which results in a changed life. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." Things to remember come from things experienced.  I will drop in later to share some more Good News. But for now think on these things.
