COMMUNITY GOSPEL FAITH COMMISSION SOCIETY is orthodox in doctrine and evangelistic in practice, believing in:
1.The verbal, plenary inspiration of the old and new testaments and its inerrancy as God's Holy Word in the original autographs
(languages) of the Greek and Hebrew (Masoretic Text, Textus Receptus, received text or majority text, etc.) and the preserved
copies up to this present day. God has promised to preserve His Word to us by providing copies of the originals up to this
present day. (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Pet. 1:20-21; Prov. 30:5-6; Ps. 119:89)
The King James Version has been the most widely known and quoted version of the Bible over three centuries. It is the
preserved Word of God for the English speaking people. We also believe that this classic version is co-equal in authority
and reliability with other legitimate classic English versions (Wycliffe, Tyndale, Geneva, and Webster's Bible, etc.) only
translated from preserved copies of the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts which is specifically known by some of these
different names: Masoretic Text, Textus Receptus, Received Text, Majority Text, Syrian Text of Antioch, etc.) We do not accept
any per-versions translated from the Western and Alexandrian Texts. Therefore, our Standard English Text is mainly the King
James Version. From time to time we may carefully use other certain English versions. We may translate and/or paraphrase from
the preserved copies of the original texts to make the meaning clear and easy to understand. (Hab. 2:2; Neh. 8:8; Acts 8:31)
2. One God alone which is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, perfectly united together in the work of creation, especially
the creation of man by the direct act of God after their own image. (Gen. 1:1, 26; II Cor. 13:14)
3. Six literal creation days of 24-hours each and man's subsequent fall as revealed in the Genesis account. (Gen. chapters1-2)
4. The Deity, Incarnation, Virgin Birth, and sinless humanity of Jesus Christ our Lord; His precious substitutionary death
on the cross as the Atonement for man's sin; His Bodily Resurrection from the tomb on the third day; His Bodily Ascension
into heaven to sit at the Father's right hand where He now intercedes for all believers; the Rapture of all believers; and
the Personal, Visible, Pre-millenial Return and millennial reign of Christ on earth in power and great glory. (John 10:29-38;
Lk. 1:35; I Tim. 3:16; Isa. 7:14; 9:6; Heb. 4:15; I Cor. 15:1-4; Rom. 5:11; Lk. 24:39, 51; I Thess. 4:15-18; Rev. 1:7; 19:11-20:3)
5. The New Birth of all who believe on Christ alone through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:5; John
3:3, 7; 14-16; I Pet. 1:23)
6. The Three-fold Sanctification (positional, progressive, & final) of the believer which enables him to live a holy
life and witness to the lost the saving power of Christ and His Gospel. (I Pet. 1:2; II Thess. 2:13-14; Phil. 1:7; Rom. 1:16-17)
7. the family home as the first and most important foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons
related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. It is ordained of God in His Holy Word and it starts with marriage
which is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. Children, from the moment of conception,
are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. (Gen. 2:15-25; 18:19; Deut. 6:4-9; Ps. 127:3-5; Eph.5:22-33; 6:1-4; Col. 3:18-21;
I Tim. 5:8, 14-15; I Pet. 3:1-12)
8. The Autonomous Local Church as God's only people (both Jew & Gentile) & individual Christians used as God's
instrument(s) in this present church age to carry out the GREAT COMMISSION. (Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16; Luke 24:46-48;
Rom. 6:13;Acts1:8; 8:26-40; 10:19-48) It is important to know that baptism will never save a person. Then the discipleship
process can begin as one grows in grace alone fellowshipping with Christ and His children in the things of God. (Rom. 12:4-5;
I Cor. 6:15; 12:12-27; Eph. 5:30)
9. a representative form of church government whereby saved Jews and Gentiles can be one in Christ and properly represented
in spite of their differences without trying to control and manipulate one another toward his/her certain ways, beliefs,
traditions, etc. The center of Christian union is the Bible alone. We wholehearted believe in the doctrine of the liberty
of conscience. (Acts 11:1-18; 15:1-33; Rom. 14:1-23; 15:1-13; Gal. 2:1-21; 5:1; Matt. 23:4; Luke 11:46)
10. the Lord's Supper which is the memorial of our Lord's death by the use of unleavened bread and grape juice as symbols
of the price He paid for us. This memorial should be preceded always by solemn self-examination. (1 Corinthians 11:23-28)
11. The Final Judgment of lost sinners and satan's
complete doom with the wicked in the lake of fire forever. (Rev. 20:10-15)
12. The Eternal Salvation & Security of every born-again believer which can never be lost. (John 6:37, 44; I Pet.
1:4; Heb. 5:9; 9:12; Eph. 4:30)
13. The Eternal Happiness of the saints in the presence of the Lord, and the establishment of Christ's eternal righteous
reign (II Cor. 5:8; I Thess. 4:17;. (Rev. 21:1-4).
14. God-lead systematic, spontaneous, and scriptural giving of the New Testament Church and/or individual Christians according
to the Bible which is mission giving (Phil. 4:15-19), and alms or grace giving (I Cor. 16:1-3; II Cor. 8:1-24; 9:1-15). We
are free agents of and for God alone. If a person desires to give a certain amount on a regular basis or whenever according
to the leading of God whether it be a tithe or any amount, etc., it should be by grace alone, not by coercion of law or church
regulations and rules, etc. It is a personal matter between the believer and God alone. (Gal. 2:1-10; 5:1, 18; Rom. 6:15-17;
II Cor. 9:6-15)
*NOTE. There is so much confusion concerning the original fundamentals of the Christian faith today. So this STATEMENT
OF FAITH presents to you a clear and concise summary of what we absolutely refuse to compromise on (Jude 1:3). We did our
best to avoid majoring on the minors which cause unnecessary divisions in the body of Christ. All true Bible-believing Christians
of any denomination, non-denomination, etc. should be able to relate to and agree
